Our Come & See sessions are part of the initial steps of inquiry where you get to know the basics of discipleship in Jesus Christ and understanding what is is to be part of the Catholic Church. This is also an opportunity to present some early questions you may have about beliefs and practices.
Below is the upcoming 2024-25 Come & See schedule. All sessions start at 7pm in the church parlor.

Our St. Helen Scripture study group meets on selected Tuesday nights in St. Helen’s Braden Center at 7:30pm to learn more about and share in our understanding of the Bible and our Catholic Faith. Our current study is listed below:
The Gospel of Luke takes you on a journey that begins with the foretelling of John the Baptist’s birth and culminates in Jesus’ ascension into heaven. On the road to Emmaus, a story unique to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus gave us the greatest Bible study of all time, laying out his fulfillment of the Old Testament.
In Luke: The Story of Salvation Fulfilled, you will witness key moments in salvation history including the Annunciation, the Nativity, his public ministry, and Jesus’ suffering, death, and glorious Resurrection. There are parables found only in Luke, including the Prodigal Son, the Good Samaritan, and the rich man and Lazarus which will show you the mercy and compassion that Jesus has for each one of his children.
In this 8-part study, you’ll see the beautiful Biblical roots for Mary, the Rosary, and the Mass that are found in Luke, strengthening your prayer life like never before.
You will need to register as well as purchase a workbook:

Please join the Women’s Bible Study Group this Spring on Wednesday Mornings. We will be reading the book Mary Teach Me to be Your Daughter: Finding Yourself in the Blessed Mother by Megan Madden.
Meet and Greet with discussion of Chapter 1 of the study on Wednesday, January 15, 9:15am-11:00am in the Braden Center. A dedicated attendance meets requirements for Parent’s Sacramental Prep. We will discuss Zoom attendance at this meeting. Below are the meeting dates:
Throughout the Bible, incredible women have played a part in the story of salvation. The Virgin Mary would have learned about these women. She might even have recognized pieces of her own story in theirs. “Whispers of Mary: What Twelve Old Testament Women Teach Us About Mary” invites Catholics to explore Marian typology through the lives of Old Testament women like Eve, Esther, Judith, etc. This study points to God, through Mary as we grow in our relationship with the Blessed Mother.
Join us for a seven session study series. This study series will be available on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm. All classes will be held in the church parlor. Class will begin on Thursday, November 14th.
Instructions on how to get to the church parlor will be available on the online registration form; the link to which is found below. If you have any questions, please contact the study leader, Linda Asbach at: [email protected]. Please note that the online registration form will automatically close when all available seats have been reserved. Some of the available seats for this class have been pre-registered by our current Bible study students. Therefore, please note that there are only 13 seats available for this class.
*The following dates will be skipped: November 28th (Thanksgiving); December 12th; December 26th Christmas).
The Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy is a Catholic evangelical mission of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, which uses a small group to experience our Catholic faith through the study of sacred scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic church and the diary of St. Faustina Kowalska, to whom Jesus gave extraordinary revelations.
The purpose is to spread the truth of the real presence in the eucharist and to live the divine mercy message based on a deeper trust in God, a greater ability to forgive others and to be merciful to others. The readings are guided by a formation manual dedicated to Jesus, who is the Divine Mercy and to Mary, our ‘Mother of Mercy’. Jesus’ love for us never ends and is present in our darkest moments.
The St. Helen Divine Mercy Study Group will meet in the church parlor on Mondays, 10:30am-Noon, beginning Oct 7, 2024. Please register to reserve a seat for this study. Once all seats are reserved by registration, the registration form will be closed.
I addition to our Monday morning class, we also have a Monday evening class, which will begin on October 28th at 7:45-9:00pm, in the church parlor. If you have any questions, please contact Gina Millett at [email protected].
