Purpose
St. Helen Early Childhood Center provides opportunities
for the total development of each child: spiritual,
emotional, intellectual, social and physical. An emphasis
is placed on developmentally appropriate practices;
developing each child's self-esteem and creative potential.
St. Helen Early Childhood Center is licensed by the Texas
Department of Human Resources and is an extension of the
educational ministry of St. Helen Catholic Church.
Our teaching staff is degreed/certified in early childhood education. Experienced in
working with children, our staff receives continuing education in the field of early
childhood education throughout the year.
General Information
St. Helen Early Childhood Center serves children two
1/2 years through four years of age.
Classes are held throughout the school year only
Children may attend: two day classes (Tuesday/Thursday),
three-day classes (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) or all five days.

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Extended Care
7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Age Criteria
The age criteria for program admission is as follows:
Please note that all Pre K-3 and Pre K-4 students must be potty trained in order to be eligible for enrollment.
Dress Code
Students are required to wear standardized dress, available for purchase at any discount
store, to class each day.
